Crow River North is the studio of artist Linda L. Brobeck. Brobeck is primarily a painter, but enjoys working across mediums. Her art has been exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally, and can be found on a number of online sites and exhibits. She has enjoyed photography since childhood, and learned film development years ago through Camera Club in her high school. She’s since moved on to digital, but does love the old 35mm. The photos in this portfolio blog capture some places and moments in her life. Linda holds a Master’s degree in Visual Art/Studio Art. She is an arts advocate in Minnesota, USA, where she is Board Chair at the Central Minnesota Arts Board, a Governor appointed Board Director, of the Perpich Center for Arts Education, where she is Chair of the HR Committee, a member of the Executive Committee/Task Force, and serves on the Nominating Committee, as well as volunteering at a number of other arts organizations, and a local hospital. She is joyful – grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves, and to serve others.
